The last few days I have been approaching something much closer to my previous 4 early pregnancies. It's still significantly less severe. I haven't actually thrown up yet, which is unheard of, for me, by 6 weeks. I am, however, feeling pretty darn crappy the last few days. I'm getting exhausted, and having a hard time choosing foods, and then actually eating them. I will spend an hour just trying to brainstorm anything that sounds edible... all the while getting nauseous from waiting to eat. Often, in the time it takes to get the chosen food in front of me, I just can't eat it. But, for the most part, I can still do what I need to do. The mornings are quite rough, but I'm usually feeling pretty close to normal, albeit tired, by late afternoon. It can certainly get worse at any time, and I fully expect it to! I am working on getting into the habit of eating the brazil nuts every morning and afternoon, hoping that is helping, but not willing to skip them on purpose just to experiment! I was also giddy with joy this morning when my vitamin refills came. Everything was ok as I still had my original brand to take in the meantime, but I'm convinced these vitamins the IM orders for me are helping me feel much closer to normal. I ran out of the main pre-natal one for the last couple days, and I'm super curious to see if it was coincidental timing that I finally got nauseous right when I ran out of those vitamins.
Tomorrow is the big deal - the first ultrasound! I'm excited to see the tiny little embryo growing in me, and I know the intended parents are just dying to see the proof that the transfer was successful!
